A high level interaction program on rubber production in Nepal, current status, opportunity and future challenges was over in Kathmandu on 9th March 2015 at Nepal House Restaurant and Conference Venue, Baluwatar, Kthmandu. Dr. Durga Datta Poudel, chairperson of ASTA-JA, Dr. Khyam Sharma Poudel, had presented the future opportunity of natural rubber production in Nepal. Chief Guest Lila Mani Pokhrel, Chief Secretary of Government of Nepal has expressed the commitments to support on promoting the rubber and other natural high value crops. Chief executive officer of ICA Nepal, Dr. Tatwa Prasad Timsina, Dr. Khem Sharma Poudyal; Bal Krishna Sapkota; Sitaram Bastola,Karki Dinesh, Rajkumar Shrestha, Indrajit Mukhiya and; all the stake holders, Bank Chairman, Government;s Dept. Head & Rubber Farmers Association Team as well as Media Representative were also present there on the occasion. Program was jointly organized by ASTA-JA, ICA and IRJR- Nepal.
